CBD has become very versatile. Among many of its uses are pain relief and improved sleep. Many people don’t know that CBD can be used to help improve mental health and help with the side effects of many psychological disorders. CBD has many benefits for depression, including but not limited to anxiety, cognitive impairment, and discomfort before public speaking. Studies have found that CBD has an antidepressant-like effect but without the common side effects of antidepressants such as insomnia, sexual dysfunction, mood swings, and agitation. CBD also helps improve feelings of isolation, which is especially helpful with the state of society right now. CBD calms the brain and supports the hippocampus, which is essential for healthy emotion and memory. CBD is helpful to those with bipolar disorder. CBD can help control and stabilize manic episodes from bipolar disorders. In a study of 133 participants with bipolar disorder, all 133 participants reported feeling consistent energy levels throughout the day, and stable moods after taking CBD each day. CBD has been seen to improve a wide variety of mental health issues, including social anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, depression, and even PTSD.
